Application

Each door is purpose made to suit site dimensions and
requirements and is suitable for all types of industrial use
where insulation 2 to a value of 0.7W/m K is required.

The shutter curtain is constructed from suitable
interlocking, twin skin, galvanised steel laths, infilled 2 with
polystyrene to give a ‘U’ value of 0.7W/m K and running in
galvanised steel side channels, mounted on mild steel support
angles, which are bolted to the structure.

The curtain weight is counter balanced by helical wound springs,
fitted inside a suitable steel tube barrel assembly at high
level, running on steel bearings. The barrel assembly is
supported between mild steel endplates and driven through gears.

| A rubber seal is
provided to the bottom edge of the door and a nylon
brush seal to the door head. All mild steel components
are finished in one coat of black primer. |
Operation
Manual operation by means of continuous galvanised haul
chain, through single or double reduction gearing.
Electrical operation is by means of a high quality, 3 phase
motor and gearbox, incorporating 6 integral limits. All controls
are low voltage and have open,close and emergency stop buttons
as standard. Emergency manual override is provided as standard,
to allow operation of the door in case of power failure.
